Tragedy prompts scrutiny of Los Angeles Coronor's report on the passing of Eliza Jane Scovill.  What was the impact of the report and what are the implications of the findings of an independent review by Dr. Al-Bayati of the report? Tragically on May 16th, 2005, Eliza Jane Scovill, daughter of Christine Maggiore and Robin Scovill died suddenly at the age of only 3-1/2. On September 4th 2005, a front page story in the LA Times appeared to accept the Los Angeles county coroner’s conclusion that Eliza Jane died of “AIDS-related pneumonia” even before Christine and Robin had received a copy of the coroner’s report. Christine Maggiore has been a major critic of the AIDS establishment for several years. She has been HIV-positive and healthy, without AIDS drugs, for over a decade. This has not endeared her to the many doctors and AIDS activists who promote these drugs, but her experience and research has inspired many HIV-positive people to reconsider their approach to being diagnosed. 

Dr. Mohammed A. Dr. Al-Bayati did an analysis on a second case done by James Ribe, the medical examiner who did the autopsy on Eliza Jane Scovill. James Ribe's autopsy put two innocent parents in prison in 1995 for life. He accused them of abusing and killing their 21-month 

old child Destiny Jacobo. The father was released after five years and the mother is still in prison. Dr. Al-Bayati's analysis clearly shows that the parents are innocent and the sexual abuse charge is false. Also the child had similar data concerning body weight and thymus weight but he did not say this child had AIDS, which he had in the case of Eliza Jane Scovill.

The Iraq War, The Case for Impeaching George Bush and more!  John C. Bonifaz, a 1992 c. laude graduate of Harvard Law School, is a Boston-based attorney specializing in constitutional law. In February and March 2003, he served as plaintiffs’ lead counsel in John Doe I v. President Bush, a constitutional challenge to President Bush’s authority to wage war against Iraq absent a congressional declaration of war or equivalent action. Bonifaz represented a coalition of US soldiers, parents of US soldiers, and Members of Congress, arguing that the president’s planned first-strike invasion of Iraq violated the War Powers Clause of the US Constitution.

In his book, Warrior-King: The Case for Impeaching George Bush (NationBooks, January 2004), John lays out the case and its meaning for the United States Constitution. With a forward by Congressman John Conyers, Warrior Kings argues that the framers of the Constitution wanted to ensure that our presidents would not be like European kings of old who could decide, on their own volition, to send their subjects into battle. The courts heard the case on an expedited basis, but ruled that they were barred from deciding it on the grounds that it raised a “political question” to be addressed only by the political branches. John argues that if we are to preserve our Constitution, we must now act:

Constance (Connie) Fogal, B.A., B.Ed., M.A., LL.B is the leader of Canadian Action Party (CAP), a lawyer and long-time activist who spearheaded the fight against the MAI in the Supreme Court of Canada, fought against the expropriation of Nanoose Bay for U.S. weapons testing, fought for continued rights of free speech in trials leading up to the 2001 FTAA meeting in Quebec, and continues to fight for Canadian values on many issues.  

Connie is a passionate defender of Canadian's  right to choose to have universal programs serving the interest of the Canadian public. She has devoted all her adult life in political activism learning about and then opposing globalization in all its ramifications. She has always opposed "free trade" knowing the word to be an Orwellian double speak. She has consistently called for the abrogation of the FTA, NAFTA, and opposed Canada's participation in the FTAA and the myriad of other such bilateral agreements to which Canada is already a party. Connie has always been a passionate defender of Canadian sovereignty and civil liberties. "A major threat to Canadians now is the same threat facing the whole world. That is the environmental destruction of the globe arising out of the military destruction imposed by the United States on countries of its choice, including the permanent, deadly contamination of the soil and water and air by the use of depleted uranium in its munitions."
